hi, M generating the report using Visual studio Bussiness Intellegence. The problem i have is ,I want a condition to be executed when all the parameter values are set before execution of report. i.e as soon as i hit the 'View Report' command i want the first thing to be executed be the condition i put and based on its value the further execution to be done.. Can anyone suggest the solution ..? ny help wud be appreicated. Dpkas

Hi, I think, in BIDS you cannot do this. Do you want to implement some kind of validation? If so, you can do this in dataset and if validation fails, you can display some message and hode rest of data controls.- Chintak (My Blog)
